It was a big night for two candidates in the Wisconson Primary on Tuesday night. Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders both pulled out significant wins in their respective primary. The polls proved to be right as they favored both of the candidates going into today’s primary election. This was a much larger victory for Cruz and the “#NeverTrump” movement than it was for Sanders. For the Republican side, this will greatly increase the chance of a Contested Convention and will hinder Donald Trump’s quest to win the nomination straight up. For Sanders, tonight’s win was about picking up some more momentum heading into some of the big states coming up for him.
It’s fair to say the biggest win of them all tonight was not even for a candidate, but for the “#NeverTrump” movement.
